Message Message 9: Lunch Bucket Christians
Sermon Series 1 TIMOTHY: Doing Church God's Way
Scripture 11 Timothy 6:1-2
Date September 16-17, 2006
Teaching Pastor Dr Larry Osborne

I Timothy is a letter written by Apostle Paul to a young pastor named Timothy at the church of Ephesus. Paul was concerned about the church of Ephesus and gives Timothy advice and instructions on how to lead a church and how the believers should behave in God's church. As we explore I Timothy, we will find that this advice still applies to the church today. This is another "mark-it-up" series designed to help you to treat your Bible as a life textbook. Read it, mark-it-up and cross-reference your Bible so that it becomes your manual for life.

Are you in search of the perfect job? It doesnt exist! Pastor Larry continues the "Mark it Up" series in 1 Timothy 6:1-2 by taking a closer look at what it means to serve God in the workplace. Whether your boss is a believer or not, the Bible gives us clear guidelines about how to respect authority and what to do when things arent working out on the job.
