I Timothy is a letter written by Apostle Paul to a young pastor named Timothy at the church of Ephesus. Paul was concerned about the church of Ephesus and gives Timothy advice and instructions on how to lead a church and how the believers should behave in God's church. As we explore I Timothy, we will find that this advice still applies to the church today. This is another "mark-it-up" series designed to help you to treat your Bible as a life textbook. Read it, mark-it-up and cross-reference your Bible so that it becomes your manual for life.
Pastor Larry continues the study in1 Timothy 5:17-25 as he examines the guidelines for treating a spiritual leader. Paul is very clear with Timothy about placing proper honor on leaders who do well as teachers, warns against the danger of unfounded criticism on a leader, and how to treat a leader who has sinned.
