I Timothy is a letter written by Apostle Paul to a young pastor named Timothy at the church of Ephesus. Paul was concerned about the church of Ephesus and gives Timothy advice and instructions on how to lead a church and how the believers should behave in God's church. As we explore I Timothy, we will find that this advice still applies to the church today. This is another "mark-it-up" series designed to help you to treat your Bible as a life textbook. Read it, mark-it-up and cross-reference your Bible so that it becomes your manual for life.
As we start Chapter 3, Paul lays out the minimum requirements for spiritual leadership, which we can use today to give us insight into what spiritual maturity really looks like. It is really a standard that all believers are expected to reach towards.
