No one has affected the human race over the last few thousand years more than Jesus. Napoleon said at the end of his life, "I marvel that whereas the ambitious dreams of myself, Caesar, and Alexander should have vanished into thin air, a Judean peasant named Jesus should be able to stretch his hand across the centuries and control the destinies of men and nations." So many authors and pastors try to describe who Jesus is, and often miss the mark! Should church be like a romantic comedy or an action adventure movie? To most, Jesus seems either distant or weak; the nicest man in the world, surrounded by children. This series gives us a more realistic look at who Jesus was then. One thing is for certain: Jesus is good, but not safe. Was he a Wildman?
Mark 2:23- 3:6 gives us a closer look at how Jesus views rules; which rules to follow, and which rules to break. Pastor Chris helps us see who Jesus was by how he broke the mold of the "system" during his time on earth, and the difference between mans rules and God's rules.
